Booking conditions at the Atlantique Parc campsite
The last name, first names and ages of all guests should be stated in the completed booking form. It must be sent signed and accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total amount for your stay + €22 booking fees. (without a deposit your booking cannot be registered). On receipt, an itemised letter of confirmation of your stay will be sent to you, with practical information and the balance to be paid on the day of your arrival.
Because of the variations in reception personnel, it is preferable to send any particular request in writing enclosed with your booking contract. Bookings are processed in order of arrival, if you want a fixed pitch, please let us know in writing.
Payment should be made by cheque, bank card, cash or travel voucher. (If you are waiting for your holiday vouchers please send a cheque for the balance on the prearranged date, indicating IN LARGE characters that it is not to be cashed while waiting for the arrival of the holiday vouchers, which should be send by registered post).
Settlement for pitches should be made on arrival : only cash, bank cards or holiday vouchers are accepted.
Methods of cancellation :
Cancellation of reservation should be made by registered post (telephone calls and emails are not acceptable).
IMPORTANT : because of the vagaries of the postal service, only the date of receipt (= signature of the registered letter by the campsite) will be used for the calculation of X to 30 days or 30 days to 1 day (in no event will the postmarked date be taken as the cancellation date). The subscriber must also send: a work certificate, sick leave certificate or prescriptions, hospitalisation form or death certificate. The subscriber must give the date and the circumstances known or presumed that have led to the cancellation.
A – Cancellation insurance :
Cancellation insurance is not included in the price; it is optional and amounts to 5.8% of the total amount. It can only be taken out at the moment of booking and is payable on registration.
B – Nature of the warranty :
Cancellation insurance insures the deposits that have been paid (in all cases, booking fees, insurance costs and excesses will be retained by the campsite). It intervenes when the subscriber is obliged to cancel their holiday for the following reasons:
1 - In the event of serious illness with the exception of existing conditions (confining the patient to bed) :
- in the event of a serious accident,
- in the event of death of the policy holder, their spouse in law or in fact, of their parents or children.
2 - Material loss due to theft, fire or elements of nature damaging the properties of the policy holder and which urgently requires their presence (expertise or reconstruction).
3 - The cancellation for guaranteed reasons of the fellow traveller and/or persons registered on the same booking document.
4 - The effects, after effects and complications or worsening of a disease or an accident, only occurring in each case between the booking and arrival date. No instance relating to a problem known before the booking date will be covered.
5 - The complications of a pregnancy.
6 - The economic laying off of the policy holder.
Time period :
- X to 30 days : refund of your deposit, less non-refundable booking fees and insurance costs.
- 30 days to 1 day : booking fees, insurance costs and a fixed excess of €50 are non-refundable.
C - Cancellation without insurance :
Cancellation of reservation should be made by registered letter (telephone calls and emails are not acceptable). Whatever the reason for the penalty incurred, the booking fees will be retained and will not be refunded. If cancellation occurs less than a month before the expected date of arrival, the entire balance will be retained by the campsite.
Time period :
- X to 30 days : refund of your deposit less non-refundable booking fees.
- 30 days to 1 day : all payment(s) made will be retained by the campsite.
Late arrival or non-occupation :
If your arrival will be later than arranged, please inform us in writing. If no information reaches us to this effect, the pitch or rental will be allocated to another customer as from 2pm the following day. Neither the deposit nor the balance will be refundable.
In the event of a late arrival (involving holding the pitch) no reduction or refund will be given for days missed.
Early departure : in the event of the renter leaving before the final day of their booking no refund will be given whatever the reason.
Arrival : each person arriving will be required to provide proof of identity, a copy of which will be retained with the billing form, and the name and address of all participants must be given. Those renting pitches must arrive after 2pm. (late arrivals causing a nuisance for neighbouring holidaymakers are forbidden).
Advertised taxes and services apply from 2008. They have no contractual value and may be changed without prior notice within legal and legislative limitations when changes to taxation (communal, departmental or national) or applicable VAT rates occur between the date of booking and the date of payment of the balance.
Brochure : the campsite’s brochure and website constitute a preliminary offer as defined by articles 96 and 97 of the decree of 15th June 1994. This offer is valid for stays between June and September 2010. However the campsite reserves the right to make changes to the services offered within the conditions defined in article 97 of the decree of 15 June 1994.
