The Charente Maritime, and more particularly the peninsula of Arvert is renowned for its oysters labeled Marennes-Oléron. The multicolored huts have varied activities: direct sale of the clear and all the products of the sea, or more exceptionally, they are rehabilitated and all oyster heritage becomes real craft workshops. Artists work in front of you, present and sell their creations.
You will have the chance to taste oysters green and tasty, famous all over France and Europe.

In addition to its locally rich gastronomy, the area also offers magnificent sandy beaches, and you will appreciate the softness of its microclimate in mid-season.

Stroll under the Arcades of the city of Royan, stop to admire the boats returning to the port, or entertain yourself in the casino of the city. The city of Royan, dynamic and lively offers many activities throughout the year and for all ages.

Do not miss the visit of La Rochelle, its port in the heart of the city center and its huge aquarium will enchant you. Day and night, La Rochelle offers many activities and many restaurants.
 The campsite works in partnership with the Aquarium of La Rochelle, the sale of tickets is done at the ticket office located at the reception of the Tour Operator Bonnes Vacances.

Situated between land and sea, Rochefort-Océan has no window on the ocean, but it has a port and was a large maritime arsenal. Come and discover the Hermione as well as the Corderie Royale on a guided tour or free visit and go back in time for a moment!

The island of Oléron at only 14km: the Cotinière and its fishing port, Boyardville, Saint Georges d’Oléron, Chassiron lighthouse, and the whole island bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. You will enjoy the magnificent views by way of the bridge overlooking the Seudre and the Viaduct which connects the continent to the island of Oléron.

On foot, by bicycle, on boats or cruises via the islands of Aix and Ré, let yourself be charmed by Fort Louvois and Fort Boyard, by the beacon of Antioch or by the swamp of the Birds …

For the more adventurous: fishing, surfing, water skiing or for the more tranquil: beach and idleness, compose your holiday according to your aspirations, the region offers for all tastes!
